Interviews and media appearances have been part of my journey since the 1970s. It began during my early years racing BMX and continued through the decades as my creative work expanded, including large-scale stage backdrops for touring bands.
Now, with the Keep Crayin’ On mission moving forward, a new chapter of media coverage is beginning. Recent and upcoming conversations include an interview with Tami Bandimere on her program, Living It Loud, along with a planned live segment at the 9News studio in Spring 2026 surrounding the Quarter Mile of Crayons world record attempt.
Stay tuned as this next chapter continues to unfold.

Back in the late 1970s, during my BMX racing years, I was interviewed by Steve Kelly from KIMN 95 AM at a stunt show we were doing at a shopping mall. We performing jumps over a 4x4 pickup truck, then the station’s mascot, the KIMN Chicken. It was one of those early experiences with adrenaline, performance creativity, and community energy.

Still, during those BMX years of the 70s, I called up The Denver Post on a whim to see if they’d be interested in covering our neighborhood “field of ramps.” To my surprise, they showed up with a photographer, and the next day I found myself on the front page, mid-air over my friend below. It was one of those 'Go for it and just ask' moments that came with the early resume reward.
